Patient Voice: Turn up the volume!

It is well recognised that placing patients and service users at the centre of health and social care commissioning is essential to delivering the radical transformation in quality and efficiency required to meet the challenges facing these critical services.  Unfortunately the track record for NHS organisations, and in particular commissioners, is mixed and important lessons can be learnt from what is now seen as common practice in any other industry and many other public sector environments. Patient Voice: Turn up the volume!  from the Cheshire & Merseyside Commissioning Support Unit brings together evidence to enable delivery of a systematic approach to patient experience and hearing the patients’ voice support the delivery of this key goal?
